Pie Cleaner Pocket Knife

There once was a knife called Pie Cleaner.  He relished the strength of his form and he loved the take.  I believe Pie Cleaner to be a smart and trustworthy soul but the problem is that knifes do not unfortunately make for a good pie tray cleaner.  Pie Cleaned tried many times to clean his pie plates that were littered with the remains of pie eating from the villiage people.  The villiage people paid Pie Cleaner fifty cents an hour to do his deeds.  The pie tins often were returned with holes in their bottoms but that really was not the end of their use. They could still be used to make more pies, but sadly, there was no more apple pie made in a cleaned tray that Pie Cleaner would return. It just made the apples too hot when they were cooked and they would burn.  So Pie Cleaner had a good job, but the villiage people had to buy a lot of new pie tins becuase they all liked apple pie very much.  True they could still make blueberry pie in a returned tin, but that was not as savory.  So the cost to the villiagers was tremendous.  One day the villiage people asked Pie Cleaner if he might like to cut the pies instead as they might be able to pay Pokey the Square Cloth even less to do the same job.  Pie Cleaner was embarrassed and thought that they were telling him that he was completely useless.  Pie cleaner closed his blade and refused to apply himself in the future.
The sad meaning of this tale is that if you are best in the employ of another aim, it is a good thing to consider it a blessing rather than a detriment.  It might be your real true calling.
