Forest of Plenty

One day when the Forest was newly formed and the weeds were abundant, there was grown a big weed that was strong and healthy and looked exactly like the Trees really were going to look.  We will call this new weed Hamabra.  Hamabra was wise and he was the first to say that he Really loved the Tree God and he told all of the weeds of this fact.  He had a baby tree that he named SacIs and SacIs indeed loved the Tree God too.  Actually SacIs was really another weed that looked like a tree but the Trees of the future loved him dearly just as they loved Hamabra too.  And finally after these two trees existed, they had a third child tree who was in fact the First Tree.  We will call him Jacob.  Jacob the Tree grew tall and mighty. He was like an elm tree and had branches that went for miles and miles and miles.  His branches are still alive and well today even though his trunk was bronzed by the Tree God for the rest of the world to remember him for when he was alive.  And soon there were now trees that populated the Forest.  This was a good thing and the Tree God smiled to himself that he would never ever destroy the forest ever no matter how many chainsaws or weeds did not like the Trees.  It was the Tree God's plan to make the Trees mighty and make the Forest really a forest that was truly made for the Trees.  Many weeds thought that the Tree God was really a weed God.  He was not.  But he liked to make lots of weeds of all shapes and sizes.   There was one problem however, the new Trees had no guidance system for their branches to be formed.  So the Tree God created a special tree named Milestone and Milestone was a prophet and wise tree in all of his ways. Milestone was tested again and again and he was a bright star.  He began his life in a shower of rose petals that were from the Rose Garden but floated up the waters of the middle Pyramidal Territory of the Forest.  So Milestone was brilliant and he rose to great heights in the weeds of the Pyramid Territories.  Milestone once had to eliminate one of the weeds in the Pyramid Territory as it was trying to hurt the trees.  Milestone was thought to be a weed but he actually was a tree and soon all the trees looked to him as their best friend.  Milestone decided that the Trees did not belong in the care of the Weeds that ran the Pyramidal Territories and he asked the leader of these Weeds named a Roachgun to release all of the Trees from his evil rabbit traps that he put on the bottom of each of these Trees.  Some of the trees did not want to lose their rabbit trap because it made the rabbits leave their care and they never needed a rabbit to help them grow tall.  But Milestone succeeded and Roachgun left the key to remove the Rabbit Traps on Milestones doorstep.  Milestone told all the Trees to look up and when they did, a cloud formed over their canopies and it smiled back at them with a rainbow of gold coins that it dropped in their soil.  It was good and the Tree God took Credit of course.   So when the Milestone Tree was busy honing the buttercups that he wanted to plant among the trees that no longer had rabbit traps, he found that the Tree God asked him to make a special Tree Voyage to a mountain that had a Clam Kitchen that cooked clams for the clowns in the pink suits that liked to entertain the children that were in the forest.  This clam kitchen was a miracle in that noone even knew where it was for the rest of the life of the Forest and eternity to come.  The day Milestone visited the Clam Kitchen, the Trees worried that he might eat the clams and that he might grow Tree spurs.  Clams made trees sick. So they built a battleship that they named Farley and Farley was fat and ugly and made of sap from the Trees that were once weeds but decided they wanted to be like the Trees that were freed of having rabbit traps.   Milestone returned and saw the Battleship and then he cried becuase he never ate a clam and they were going to try to sink his tree spurs.  This angered the Tree God even though he expected this to be a trust they would break and this made the Milestone Tree go back into the mountain and buy more clam shells.  The clam shells looked good and at first Milestone had some clam shells he really liked but that the Tree God asked him to toss to the heavens.  So the second Clam shells were good and Milestone showed the trees how they could all be ground into fertilizer for the Trees to make sure that they did not mysteriously vanish from the forest.
I met Milestone once.  He was a formidable Tree with large roots and a spire that advanced into the heavens.  He held more and more trees in his eyes and he liked to help the trees grow healthy.  He was given a seed by the Tree God and this is how the Power Tree was formed.  A simple seed that Milestone planted in the middle of the entire forest that lasted eternally.  The rest of the Trees were happy because now Power was present in their forest and they had a Big Strong Tree to hold fast.  I miss Milestone becuase he as all trees go became bronzed and never was seen in the living world of trees as a living Tree Trunk ever again.  He was told to show the trees that they can indeed find a home in the Rose Garden any time they want.  But he was not the best of Trees overall and he made a deal with the Tree God to be bronzed in a non Rose Garden location.  This worked out well and noone ever saw his bronze image but he was thought of by every Tree and almost every weed as well.  It was good and the Tree God opened the Rose Garden soon for every tree to dwell and live with milk and honey and apples and carnations too.  It was a nice place and the carnations were always in bloom.  They were red carnations too but noone knew that they really were in the heart of the rose garden.  Power was a beautiful tree and he made some weeds that liked carnations and soon the carnations were friends of the Trees as well.  This was the Tree God's plan.
