Pie Chaser the Peacock
There once was a beautiful peacock named pie chaser. She delighted in showing her feathers to every man and woman and child. People could not get enough of Pie Chasers feathers and they never looked uneven or soiled. So Pie Chaser was happy and the people were happy. Pie Chaser however, had one unorthodox obsession, she would like to seek blueberry pies in the night time and to do so, she had to peck on the doors of the rich. I miss Pie Chaser becuase she never ate the pies she might ask to be given. She donated them to a homeless shelter where her son Pie Eater Peacock was rumored to have lived. I miss Pie Eater as well, but it is true that he gave up the pie eating habit for a chicken farming ranch that he diligently ran and provided an income for his children and wife. Pie Chaser never realized that her son no longer ate pies and she made the rich people very anxious with her nightly pecking. I must say that Pie Chaser is always going to have many friends, but among the rich, there is a rumor that Pie Chaser is really a broken foolish she-peacock that was really unable to make a positive contritbution to her long lost son's life. Her son wished to be around her all the time, but he was forbidden to enter the city that she lived becuase he was farming chickens in a turkey only city. I miss Pie Eater Peacock but I know that he is alive and well.
