Victor the Great
A majestic king once lived in the land of the Frito people. His name was Victor the Great. Victor was a smart fellow with a face that was memorable by his eyes. Victor's eyes shined and moved and wandered no where. They never found an illicit target to view. Never ever. Not Victor's eyes. Everyone I knew viewed Victor as a space pilot of the future. He was affluent and reasonable. He was thoughtful when you spoke with him. His smile might launch a million sailing ships to discover new planets and new towns. I do think that Victor was a pleasant fellow. He was a major philanthropist and I loved to know he gave so much money to such great causes every day of his life it seemed. Victor was blessed with a job to govern his people that was not given by God but given to him by the diligence of his hands. I saw how fast Victor could tie his shoes and never again could I tie my shoes without recalling Victor's feat. Victor saw suffering in the world and he was so interested in releiving it that he created major works of art for the people to view any time they may wish to escape the doldrums of an unhappy existence. Victor was a master. I respect his every thought and his every mission. But that said, I must profess that Victor missed out on mastery of the day by discarding the shoelaces for velcro shoes. Pretty soon, Victor who was a talented shoe string tier was no longer tying shoe strings. I thought that was fine because who wants to make their fingers go through the moves like that every day, right? But still to say, many people tie shoe laces every day, just not as quickly as Victor the Great. Victor just did not think this was such a majestic feat. I thought it was majestic but I did not think it was trouble for him to do so and it was really not to be impressive either. He just worked that fast with his fingers. I think of Victor often in my life. I think he is a star above many. But that said, how can Victor command authority in the kingdom if he can no longer impress persons with his true talent, the talent that was the reason he was the King. No one was going to dethrone Victor but to be quite honest, noone really wanted to study him much either. Not when Victors best choice of shoes became the dusty brown velcro tying hush puppy that I really liked to hear about but to be perfectly honest, I never felt looked really good on him. I think Victor is a bright star, and noone makes any money by tying shoes, do they?
