Poppy Sweetheart was a beautiful witch that did beautiful things with her wand. She could dance all night long and in the morning, she would cast a spell that created lolly pops for orphan children. I loved her so and I thought the world of Poppy. But the problem with making lolly pops is that in the morning when you make them, you must create six childrens hats to go with them or else you will make the lolly pop taste like a pencil sharpener. I must say that Poppy did not know that her lolly pops tasted like a pencil sharpener but she was really happy that the kids took the lolly pops with such glee. That said, the kids always went home and tried the candy treat but upon tasting it they had to throw it away. The still came back to her though because they thought that maybe one day the lolly pops would taste good and it was always said that Poppy's mother, another witch, was a very good lolly pop maker and that the recipe was handed down through the generations.
Now you must know that the children could not communicate with Poppy. Poppy locked her door and set the lolly pops outside for the kids to pick up. She was afraid that if the kids saw what she looked like, and it was that she was actually too beautiful in her voice and her facial features that they would tell everyone who she was and that the press might come and take her photograph. If a witch in the world that Poppy lived in had her photograph taken, she believed that she would turn into sand and never be seen again. This was actually not true, but Poppy's mother and father had told her this story once just to see if she believed it. Before they could tell Poppy that the story was just a funny prank, both of her parents suddenly died from a meteor that landed in Poppy's parents house. It was not true, but Poppy had no reason to know this. So Poppy went on refusing to be seen, but providing lollypops every day.
The moral of this story is this. If you are living with a beautiful face and a beautiful voice share it with someone else.
