Tappy McHappy was a wise son. He lifted the spirits of his mother and father and played very nicely with his sister. I smiled when Tappy and I met. I made a point of memorizing Tappys phone number and now many years later, I can still remember his mother and fathers home ringer's joy. I happen to like Tappy. He is affluent, he is bright and he is inquisitive. But that said, Tappy and I just were not meant to smile at the birds when Tappy and I greeted the day. I loved the birds very much and it really made me irate to see a pretty bird at which I just could not smile. Tappy loved the birds too. But Tappy just didn't like them when he was around me. I listened to everything Tappy had to say and Tappy admired my connections and my efficiency. But Tappy and I were not prosperous. I must say that I think Tappy is a smart fellow and surely I must be as well, but why couldn't we smile for the pretty birds when we both were among one another?
There is always an answer and every problem has its cancelling properties. I best say that Tappy and I are amigos of virtue and trust. Tappy speaks to me when we are in a small room and I always look for Tappy when I think of the gatherings. It was not meant to be that Tappy and I could smile together at the birds? Surely not. I bet that the reason is that Tappy was just too smart. He was just too likable. I liked him for sure. But what about the birds. If you add me and Tappy to the room, the birds are just feathers on a body. They dont chirp much and they just sit on their branches. Tappy and I discovered that if you want the birds to chirp, you have to unbelt your fist and shake it at them. Otherwise they only chirp when they feel like it. And neither of us really wished to unbelt a godless fist. We were small human beings with much to lose if we went ballistic and threatened the prosperity of the birds. So that was that. No chirping and no fists. All is in order. The best way to think about this situation is that once in a while, you can indeed unbelt a fist, but you do not shake it in the air. Just unbelt your fist but let it open in friendship. It makes a difference and soon the birds will sing and be remembered in your mind and heart and soul.
