Pie Chaser the Peacock part 2
Pie Chaser was always brilliant at home and out in the community. She ascribed to the idea that books were useful but that they really were more useful to hold the bedroom door open than to be read openly. That doesn't mean that she didnt read, she did, but she did not read more than a few chapters ususally before putting the book to rest. One day her son finally got a telegram to Pie Chaser and told her that he needed some more books and that he wanted to purchase them with credit he had on loan from the bank. I thought it was risky but I told him whom I was familiar with as a friend that he could take his chances that since he had a chicken ranch he was sure to someday be able to sell the chickens for meat. This saddened Pie Eater's mother Pie Chaser because when she finally learned that he had a chicken farm, she was distressed that the chickens were not going to be in good care, after all her son did not know the simple method of caring for any animal, he had never been a freindly sort as a child and he lacked instruction in the way of world matters. I thought that the idea of buying books was to learn to be world orientated so this was a good idea that would fix the problem of Pie Eaters Childhood. The day that Pie Chaser found out that Pie Eater was really not as troubled as she had anticipated she decided to visit his chicken farm. Pie Chaser brought a knife that she used to chop the heads off of three of Pie Eaters Chickens. She did this because she was convinced that Pie Eater could not care for chickens and that a quick death might be easier than a slow painful existence which lead ultimately to a horrible demise and then perhaps Pie Eater and his famly would be saddened by the sad chickens. Pie Chaser thought that she had done somthing good for Pie Eater. Pie Eater found the three dead chickens and cried out as one was his hen that layed golden eggs. Pie Chaser now realized that she was a silly and maybe even sick peacock and she cut off a few of the feathers on her tail that people so enjoyed. She woke up the next day and when she went to the park, her fern tail was no longer as beautiful and it was mixed with empty spaces and cut off feathers that were half present and half removed. I miss the beautiful tail of Pie Chaser Peacock but I know it will eventually grow back. But the problem is that Pie Chaser has a poor memory and when Pie Eater gets another hen that lays golden eggs, Pie Eater knows that Pie Chaser might indeed kill it the same as she did the first. She just did not remember the experiences of the past to fix the future. May there be many Pie Eaters in your life and may the Pie Chaser be afforded a friend who will remind her of her past.
