Pick me a winner Blues star

There was once a man named Pick Me.  He was a Blues star and he loved to dance the gleeful ways of love and happiness all of his days.  His family was well to do and he owned thirteen automobiles that were all luxurious and drove fast.  But the problem was that his cars only drove on the wrong side of the road and people had to get out of the way when Pick Me came through.  I missed the fact that Pick was so trusted because he was promoted to the biggest job in town.  He was a corn picker for the Corn eating King.  This King loved Pick Me and asked him to come over for dinner once in a while.  Pick was a star and he loved his job and he did it every day he might be present.  I think that Pick was a business man in the fact that he really liked the gold on peoples shoes when he saw people wearing very nice shoes.  Pick was busy and he really had no time for any friviloties.  But that said, he was a genial man loving his entire family and his beautiful son who was missing a shoulder pad on his football uniform.  This was funny becuase his son was really a friend of the farm that Picky worked on but it was unlikely that his son would continue Pickys habit of corn picking and Pickys car collection would likely be sold at auction when Picky died.  I liked Picky a whole lot.  He really made me big business deals becuase I was a troubled spirit and Picky wanted to make sure that even I had corn to keep me happy.  I never asked for the corn, but Picky reasoned that my corn eating would make my blues go away.  I was sick of eating corn after a week and Picky never spoke to me and just fed me more and more corn.   But thats ok because I really did need a very nutritious meal.  I was busy running laps at the Jewish Center one day and Picky's son visited me and said hello.  He had taken off his football uniform and was just smiling.  I did not even recognize his son.  But that said, Picky went back to Picking corn and then he asked for a raise from the King.  The king was not happy becuase Picky's son was missing.  Noone had seen the boy in the funky uniform for three weeks and the King was getting agitated.  The King asked Picky to get a new shoulder pad for his son and Picky complied.  But that said, Picky's son came back and showed up for football practice this time wearing two shoulder pads, but only one one side of his uniform.  This mystified the King very much and the King send Picky a new Uniform for his son.  The son threw the uniform in the garbage and the King was much unhappy.  The King paid Picky's Son a visit and asked Picky to bring his son some corn to eat.  Picky refused because he did not feel his family was lovely enough to share in the corn eating experiences.   That was the end of Picky's job for the king.  Now the king refused to play ball anymore and the king laughed at the jokes that he saw on the television.  There was no longer a King in the kingdom and there was just Picky and his son.  Now his son donned his original football uniform and resituated the two shoulder pads so that they balanced his left and right shoulders.  He looked ok but there was something missing.  No more was there a corn meal for the King and the days of Picky were soon to be finished in the kingdom.
So the moral of this story is that if you really like your job, dont piss off the king.  But if you do piss off the King, better you drive on the right side of the road or else you might not be caught until you are well away from the King's wrath.  Thats the story of Pick Me a Winner Blues Star.   Thanks.
