Truth enables the must

What did I say
And what did I do
To say the word
And tame the shrew

She said hello
I said hi fast
She said I might be good
To be the very last

But truth it was not in trust
I never lost the major part of the bust
A screw of sanity might be out of place
But you were neat to be in the true race

So attention now you are heralded no more
I have a new foot on the ancient floor
The candy you gave was ripe indeed
To the best I put myself over my knee

So today I hand the keys of the buick to the other
It was never a place for the best for my mother

A kid might love a vehicle for fun
The trust might not be the only one
But the challenge of the tea cup is true
What do you get without red white and blue
