Silence of the dreidles

What was that curse
Ever so slightly spoken
That Torah wasn't strong
And the laws could be compromised

The ladders fall
And spirits rise
But just as bows flex
The Cry of the Angels is just

Shalom we all live and say Kaddish
But the hornets sting more
And ants break more homes

So cursed be thy way
If from Torah you choose to stray
