Veterans Day Poem

Toledo in the day of God

A saying is just that
One must indeed
Find his way
In the world at large
But what of the soldier
Whose stay may be short
Did he walk alone
Or was there another
Holding his arm
And guiding him into
The fray that
He will win
When all things
Are taken
At the
Fall of a tree
And the stop of
A heart beat
With the arms of the soldier
We can all be safe.
