Dear Cardiologist

Dear Cardiologist,

Here I lie
Had fun for years
Without too many fears

I smoked a cigar
I offered waves for fun
I never gravitated towards the sun

But you recommended I stop
I had more to say

Why didn't you go my way?

You said the smoking would end my life
I asked you for pleasant advice

So if my tombstone has friends

Who said I needed you in the end?
