Drunk in the ditches
With few as their voice
The hand of illiteracy prevails
Where none has made a point
The waffle iron is slim
And the correspondence closed but deep
The world is not a watering hole
And the conversation steep.
The poetry, stories and intrigues of C.J. Brenner

Fallen Elves
Sunlight it once was
To voice a regret
A desk in the cringe
A war at the knave
But silence fell upon the wall
Of life and then the mall
And the toothfairy voted
To voice a regret
A desk in the cringe
A war at the knave
But silence fell upon the wall
Of life and then the mall
And the toothfairy voted
Favored Dreams
Sketchy it was
Nostalgic too
The Torah was avoided by a silouette
Life laughed at the trust
But intelligence won out
The fruit tree ripened
And good will found a way to shine
Nostalgic too
The Torah was avoided by a silouette
Life laughed at the trust
But intelligence won out
The fruit tree ripened
And good will found a way to shine
